General editorial policy provisions

The editorial board of the scientific publication of the Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University in its work is guided by the norms of the legislation of Ukraine in the field of education, scientific activity and intellectual property.

Articles of a problematic, generalizing, methodological nature are accepted for publication in the scientific journal, which constitute original scientific research that has not been published anywhere before.

Articles are accepted in Ukrainian or English.

The mandatory stages of the editorial board's work on processing articles before publication are:

– checking for compliance with the requirements for editorial design in accordance with the state standards of Ukraine (DSTU 3008-95 “Documentation. Reports in the field of science and technology. Structure and rules of design”; DSTU GOST 8302:2015 “Bibliographic reference. General provisions and rules of compilation”; DSTU 3582:2013 “Bibliographic description. Abbreviations of words and word combinations in the Ukrainian language. General requirements and rules”;

– carrying out internal and external review of articles by the editorial board in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 15, 2018 No. 32 “On approval of the Procedure for forming the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine”);

– checking articles for plagiarism (Articles 1, 5 of the Law of Ukraine “On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities”; Article 50 of the Law of Ukraine “On Copyright and Related Rights”; Clause 16 of the “Procedure for Awarding Academic Degrees and the Academic Title of Senior Researcher”).

By submitting an article to the editorial office, the author guarantees that he has copyright to the manuscript and gives consent to the publication of the text and metadata of the article (including the author’s surname and initials, place of work, e-mail address for correspondence) in the printed and electronic versions of the journal, which provides for compliance with the open access policy in accordance with the terms of the AttributionNonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license – the ability to freely read, download, copy and distribute the content of the article for educational and scientific purposes with indication of authorship.
